Question re: new feature Clan/Family variables

Hi,

I have a question on the new feature in v 1.05c
New Feature: You can now create custom variables for families and clans.

Can you please clarify how this feature is meant to be used?

I have installed the new update, and the only way it seems possible to create variables for families and clans within the graph editor is through the scheme tab, within a scheme, by using the Get/SetClanVariable Node or Get/SetFamilyVariable node. So a scheme has to run before any Clan or Family variables are or can be created or set?

Also when creating a new clan/family through the clans/families tab, there seems to be no way to add Clan/Family variables to the clan or family.

Neither is it possible on the variables tab to specify the intended scope of a particular variable (Actor, Clan, Family, Scheme).

And the Clan/Family parameters box on the clans/familes tab does not display what variables, if any, belong to a clan/family.

Is this correct?

Some documentation or a an outline workflow on how the user is intended to
create a clan/family, with clan/family variables would be very helpful.

Looking forward to further updates, and thanks for your work so far

Hi!

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback, and again — my sincere apologies for the delayed response.
I’m fully back on Intrigues development and will be responding to support questions without delay going forward.

Yes, you're absolutely right — the system lacked clarity before.

However, the nodes you mentioned (Get/Set ClanVariable, Get/Set FamilyVariable) have been reintroduced and stabilized in v1.0.62.
Below are the updated documentation links for your reference:

šŸ”— Return Family Node Documentation
šŸ”— Set Family Variable Node Documentation

šŸ‘‰ Let me know if you're still exploring this system, or if you'd like a workflow/tip-sheet on how to set up variables for clans/families properly — I'd be happy to assist directly.

Thank you again for your insights and for being part of the journey!
